Growing in Grace
2 Peter 3:18 says we are to "Grow in Grace" and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What does that even mean? Isn't grace something we receive? Something we have no control over? And if, as the Bible teaches, we are supposed to grow, how does that happen? Whose effort is it?
