I am a Southern California native born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA. I grew up in the church but it wasn't until my time at Biola University that I began to sense God calling me into full-time ministry. I am passionate about congregational singing, liturgy, church history and, of course, teaching and preaching the gospel of Christ. I aim to work with the energy God provides to present everyone mature in Christ (Colossians 1:28-29).
I married Sarah in 2014 and the Lord has blessed us with four children, Joelle, Zephaniah, Shiloh, and Naomi. In 2017 I received a Masters of Divinity from Talbot School of Theology. I have been at DCBC since 2019, and it has been a privilege and an honor to serve here every day.
